Positive :- Good, Bad
Comparative:- Better, Worse
Superlative:- Best, Worst
The words better and best are the two forms of the adjective Good that are used for comparison.
• The adjectives good and bad have irregular forms when used as comparatives and superlatives.
• They do not add an –er or –est to create a comparative or superlative degree, whole new word is used.
• Use better to compare two people, places or, things. This is a comparative degree.
• Use best to compare more than two people, places, or things. This is a superlative degree.
• Use worse to compare two people, places, or things. This comparison is a comparative degree.
• Use worst to compare more than two people, places, or things. This comparison is a superlative degree.
• Do not use –er or –est or more or most when comparing with good and bad.
